Adult Class
Our Adult students participate in a variety of body and mind activities. Cardiovascular workouts, as well as isometric and dynamic tension exercises, build the body physically. Flexibility is improved over time through a series of safe and simple stretching practices. Deep breathing and concentration exercises help to relax the mind and stimulate action-oriented thoughts. Of course, all of this is taking place as you prepare your body and mind to react quickly in any possibly dangerous circumstance.
Not only do we teach Taekwondo patterns, techniques, and fighting in our Adult class, but we also teach Self-Defense and Fitness. Our Taekwondo classes have shown to be a great way for students to relieve stress from work and school. Students can use the physical aspect of the lessons as a good outlet for stress and frustration while also improving their fitness and physical health. Due to the physical demands of Taekwondo, many of our adult students have found that they lose weight and tone existing muscles as they work hard in class.
Adult classes are suitable for all skill levels, from beginners to Black Belts and beyond. We have classes to suit your needs, no matter what your previous skill or fitness level was, with the addition of Self-Defense skills.
